WebSep 13, 2014 · Most poisons that are halfway affordable to be used on a semi-regular basis have a DC of 13-15, which even at first level is more of a cointoss than anything else, and just gets worse as time goes on. Other poisons that have a DC that actually makes them useful, have prices in the thousands. I don't really see why.
