Spread out the filter media a mile long LOL , get the magnet out , any metal will bee on one side of the filter media. Cam and lifters will stick to magnet. WebAug 6, 2016 · Gonna try and make a long story short, bought a 2012 R/T 5.7 5-speed auto, lifter failed and ruined cam, had a general repair shop (not familiar with Hemi's) install a Comp Cams XFI 266 cam and phase limiter. (I added info on the cam specs below). Also all new non MDS lifters and Comp Cams springs. Also bought an InTune i-1000 DCX.
