There is some debate on some of the forums that steel cased ammo is more harmful on the chamber than brass cased and will cause damage. The comments about basically putting $0.10 in a $1000 gun is a waste. WebI shoot the bajeezus out of steel case ammo. I clean my guns once or twice a year, usually just because I'm upgrading something. Started reloading 223 for the AR but before that it was all steel.
